Bailey Baker is a licensed clinical fellow in speech-language pathology. She graduated with high distinction and a Master of Arts degree in May of 2019 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and she completed her undergraduate coursework at the University of Arkansas, graduating with high distinction and a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is currently in the process of earning the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as completing her Clinical Fellowship under the mentorship of Amy Deal, M.A., CCC-SLP, at Pediatric Communication Solutions.
Bailey has had the opportunity to learn how to successfully evaluate and treat children with a variety of communication disorders throughout the past six years. After interning with Shelly Geddes at Pediatric Communication Solutions, during her time at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, her interest in treating compensatory mis-articulations related to cleft palate and velopharyngeal insufficiency increased. Along with treating compensatory mis-articulations, Bailey is interested in evaluating and treating children with language (speaking, reading, writing), childhood apraxia of speech, resonance, and phonological disorders.
In her free time, Bailey loves spending time with her friends and family in Oklahoma City and Owasso, going to concerts, traveling, and hiking. Through continued education, she is expanding her clinical skills daily in order to provide the best possible evidence-based treatment for your child. Bailey looks forward to meeting you and helping your child meet his or her communication goals!
