Unbelievable Progress

My son Daxton was born with a cleft lip and palate in 2015 and because of this he had to begin speech therapy at 2 years old. Having Shelly in our lives has been one of the biggest blessings I could have hoped for in this journey. She created such a comfortable, loving environment when working with Daxton and he bonded with her very quickly.

Shelly always took the time to talk with me about Dax’s progress in and outside of therapy.

Daxton, was saying some words when he began seeing Shelly in August of 2017 but struggled to use the correct pronunciation of words, especially with the beginning and ending sounds. Each week, I could tell a difference in how clearly he was speaking. I began to have many people comment to me on how well he talks for his age. After 6 months with Shelly it was almost as if he was talking beyond most kids his age. His progress with her was unbelievable to me!

Shelly truly cared and understood Dax and his wild personality. She is amazing at what she does. Her passion for her work and her patients is far above what I could have asked for.
